Assignment Three: Writing Your Bio, Growing Your Platform
Your bio is important because it shows the publisher your level of expertise on your book’s topic, and indicates your current actions to make yourself visible as an expert. Make sure you mentioned your related credentials, experience, education and awards. You should allude to any speaking, related media appearances, podcasts, large mailing lists, big shots who will endorse your book and so forth.
Also mention any other unusual or noteworthy related achievements, such as “Olympic Medalist” or “Nobel Prize Winner”. ; )
